The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657) requires companies that manufacture or sell products in the State of California to disclose their efforts, if any, to provide information regarding their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking in their direct supply chains. The law was designed to increase consumers’ knowledge about products they buy and the companies they choose to support.

Honeyville, Inc. (“Honeyville”) is committed to complying with the law wherever we operate and conducting all business activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. This ethical commitment includes, but is not limited to social responsibilities, environmental standards, safety, and quality products. Each director, officer and employee is expected to conform to these ethical standards. These ethical standards are delineated in the company’s policy manual. Any failure to adhere to these standards is grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Honeyville is committed to the elimination of human trafficking and slavery in the supply chain. In accordance with this commitment, Honeyville is in the process of developing procedures; including evaluation of supply chains to address any potential for human trafficking and slavery, certification from suppliers that materials incorporated into products comply with laws on human trafficking and slavery, and auditing suppliers for compliance with Honeyville’s established ethical standards. Honeyville is also in the process of developing training programs on human trafficking and slavery for employees and management who have direct responsibility for the supply chain.
